The Menaces Continued |
Dated 2020G Apr 14 Tue 19 Shakban 1441H |
The second quantum of MCO was Apr 1-14, continuing right after the first quantum. A stricter movement was enforced through out the country by the police, assisted by the army personnels. |
We were in the middle of lockdown in Sg Merab. 4-beranak with CB and ASRI, plus RUBY-AFIAH who joined us in Sg Merab home since the first day of Q1-MCO, separated from the rest of the family who were trapped in TRG since Mar 14.
Apr 8 Wed, a peek to D-CENTRUM for the kitchen essentials. Before that, Apr 3 Fri, CB went to LOTA BANGI for similar sundries. And before that Mar 30 Mon, he made a quick peek for a dinnerful of KFC.
Apr 14 Tue 19 Shakban 1441H, the last day of Q2-MCO, CB went to LOTA again to acquire some kitchen sundries. The day after, Apr 15 Wed, the new Q3-MCO started. The World as at Apr 14 Tue 19 Shakban 1441H. The data showed glaringly that the pandemic is predominantly the Europe-USA affair. Even though it was the Chinese origin, it's no longer the oriental affair. Not even Ostolia and New Zealand. |

Q4 of MCO in Ramadhan |
Dated 2020G May 12 Tue 19 Ramadhan 1441H |
Apr 25 Sat Ruby-Afiah left for their place Jln 3/64, after being with us since Mar 18 Tue, the very first day of Q1. They were reunited with the rest of the families after obtaining the necessary papers and made the mission drive from Seb Takir. The MCO however was continued into the fourth quantum, Q4, Apr 29 Wed 6 Ramadhan to May 12 Tue 19 Ramadhan. A lot being speculated on the fate from May 13. For nearly sure, the schools would still be closed, at least up to Shawal 1441H, May 24 Sun. MAY 1 FRI 8 Ramadhan 1441H, MCO permitted 2-persons per household to go to buy necessities. With that took NA to MEDAIN SECT-7, after leading the noon prayer 4-beranak, to replenish the kitchen stock. And in the evening MUZANI ET AL joined us in Sg Merab to have IFTAR together, on FC CB procured in LOTA BANGI. May 4 Mon 11 Ramadhan 1441H, we made a mission visit to Police Station to try the luck for a DRVTGG. Started in BANGI. We were advised to IPD either in KAJANG or SALAK TINGGI. We decided to the latter. And at the latter we were asked to go to B-BAGINDA. We went to B-BAGINDA, and we made it, the permission to travel to-and-fro on the ticket of work matter. And thus, May 5 Tue 12 Ramadhan 1441H, delightfully a DRVTGG was embarked, bye-ing CB-ASRI in Sg Merab to take care of themselves for the few Ramadhan nights. The weather was fine. And ostensibly the traffic was very light. SgMerab-Gombak was made faster than the benchmark of 45 min. Traffic-wise it could be made faster than that. And we made it at last, HOME SWEET HOME. And surprises were waiting after a long leave since Mar 12. Fifty days absence. The NEBORLAND was cleared off the trees, skimming to the border, wiping all our plantlets, which in our presence we could tell them. The KARAS, the SERAI KAYU, the PISANG KELAT, MULBERRY and the NANGKA-CHEMPEDAK. And the heavy equipment must have passed through our bridge. It was not a pleasant start at all. Over the few days of staying in TRG, we made the border-lining. A message of ownership and rights. Mok also told that, our g-floor was used for their cars to their wish.
From g-floor, we noted that the electric supply had a trip. It came right in the mind, WHEN? There are all sorts of food-stuff in the fridge in the kitchen. Naik u-floor. Opened the door. The smell in the house told us the fate of the food-stuff. It was a hell of PUTREFY-ING matters, including those in the bottles. The trip must had been not less than a month. It would take a lot of effort to cleanse, and reclaim the fridge. It was then ca 5-30 in the evening. IFTAR was in less than 2 h. We decided to move on to TOK JEMBAL and settled there, to peek from time to time in W-TENGAH to reclaim the fridge. The first peek was at the very night, right after Teraweh in Tok Jembal. By near mid-night we managed to reclaim the fridge, but still with unacceptable odour that needed to be discarded as well. May 10 Sun 17 Ramadhan 1441H, DRVKUL. The return drive off the May 5 Tue DRVTGG. Dr Abdullah hiked. |
May 4 Mon 11 Ramadhan 1441H, Conditional-MCO was imposed. Six states will not be reopening their economies immediately, and will maintain movement control order (MCO) restrictions. These states are SARAWAK, SABAH, PENANG, PAHANG, KELANTAN and KEDAH. Penang will resume business on May 8 but will maintain other MCO restrictions, such as the barring of recreational activities until May 12. Pahang, Kelantan and Kedah will discuss whether to reopen their economies later in the week. JOHOR is expected to make a stand after the state security council meeting. So far, TERENGGANU is the only state that has declared that it will be back for business beginning May 4. MELAKA was unclear but would be resuming business by sharing a list of still-banned activities. PERLIS has since said it would implement the conditional MCO, and that measures would be reviewed from time to time. SELANGOR, PERAK and NISMILAN will resume business May 4. All three states will not allow dine-in customers. Negri will maintain a ban on recreational activities while Perak is maintaining a ban on park visits. Selangor will allow park visits but not to gyms, swimming pools and hiking trails. MCO was further extended, to Q5 and even to Q6 to Jun 9 Tue 17 Shawal 1441. The Shawal break was severely handicapped by the pandemic. SOP was issued for perhaps the annual largest break in the country. The so-called Economic Health had given quite a pressure for the MCO to be compromised. And the answer was the two quantum of the extended MCO. While the Front-liners still work round the clock, it's up the the people to take care of themselves to wiggle safely in the pendamic between the Physical Health, and the 'Economic Health'. When the dust settled, many goodness would be visible on the horizon. |

Shawal 1441 in MCO |
Dated 2020G May 26 Tue 3 Shawal 1441H |
May 24 SUN was 1 SHAWAL 1441H, the EID AIDILFITRI. It was the ending of Q5-MCO May 26 Tue, but would be extended to Q6 to Jun 9 Tue 17 Shawal. The celebration was with a series of SOP. No BALIK KAMPONG involving INTERSTATE, NO GATHERING more than 20 persons at one moment even in private home, NO OPEN HOUSE, etc, etc. Solat Aidilfitri in Surau and Masjid was allowed only to a very few AJK. Ordinary citizen made their solat at home with the family. The text of the khutbah was distributed online. All ank2 were around except ALYA et al in JB, could not join because of MCO banned interstate crossing, and SB in OSNA, Germany. Zidni et al were in Sg Merab since the evening of the Sun 30th Ramadhan. Malini et al joined the final iftar of 1441H Ramadhan. On the raya day, I led the SEMAYANG RAYA at home, reading the khutbah, the text condensed from JAWI. |
Q6 of MCO Led off Shawal |
Dated 2020G Jun 9 Tue 17 Shawal 1441H |
The Q6 of MCO for another 14 days was from May 27 Wed 4 Shawal, to Jun 9 Tue 17 Shawal 1441H. However much of the sanctions had been lifted to give the relief to the "economic health". The most important of all that was kept was the social distance, including the interstate crossing. Jun 1 Mon, more of the MCO sanctions were lifted. But the interstate travel was lifted still with a condition of permission. The interstate travel was strictly enforced during the RAYA week. Some restaurants had opened. More work places were opened. So did services such as w-shop, post office. All were with MCO SOP. Jun 4 Thu 12 Shawal 1441H, SB in OSNA, Germany, finally made his day, 5 years plus from 2015 Mar 28 for an Engineering bachelar degree. He went through his viva voce of the Thesis, by online examination, due to MCO, among the two examiners, one in M-Sia, who was his Internship supervisor in Denai Alam in 2019 Oct-Dec. The resident staff was his Faculty Professor in Osnabruck, fb_200604_sbviva. With that he was delightfully looking forward for a homeward bound one way JPA-ticket. The target was set before July 31 Fri 10 Z-Hijjah 1441. Overall, the plus he had in the extended semester over the equivalent degree by the English-medium, was the German Language, written and spoken. Sunday Jun 7, 2020 3:30PM; 15 Syawal 1441H Day 82 CMCO : 15 Syawal 1441H CORONAVIRUS | Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin today announced that the current conditional movement control order (MCO) will be replaced with a more relaxed version which he described as a "recovery" MCO from June 10 onwards. Under the recovery MCO which will last until August 31, he said there will be further easing of regulations with interstate travel and various recreational activities allowed. This is the second phase of easing after the first round of relaxation under the conditional MCO which began on May 4 and was later extended to June 9. The relaxation saw many businesses, which had been shut since March 18 under the full MCO, resume operations. Yesterday, the government also announced hair salons and barbers can resume business on June 10 while pasar malam (night markets) and bazaars can operate from June 15. With that a DRVTGG was planned. Since the last time in TRG, May 10 Sun, incidences in all three sites each needed a close attention, or even a reconsideration. Tok Jembal, W-Tengah, Sepetir. In Tok Jembal, the corridor perimeter is best without tall trees, and thus to wipe the current trees, to leave only the short trees. In W-Tengah, which was in peace until last May return, it was an anxiety to see the 'encroachment' in the development of the NEBORLAND. A very temporary border was erected to remind the new owner of the land. In Sepetir, it was commn-ed that there was a bee-hive on the backyard tree. And then cats had strayed into the house, and had been meow-ing for a few days already. In Sg Merab, a few variables were in the equation that needed to be evaluated. Muzani moved to his new house, scheduled Jun 11 Thu, at nearby street, after six years renting. Alya et al were returning from JB, tentatively Jun 12 Fri, to make up for what they missed in Shawal last two weeks due to MCO. |
Interstate De-MCO-ed |
Dated 2020G Jun 23 Tue 1 Z-KAEDAH1441H |
Jun 10 Wed, the MCO started the RECOVERY phase. It's a rather long phase. It would end on Aug 31 Mon 12 Muharram 1442H. Basically the state was returned to non-MCO, what left to be observed were the GATHERING, and the SOCIAL DISTANCING SOP. |
Figure-wise, it's worth noting the zero-covic-death of the three Indochina states. And in Brunei, only two death. The four countries must have one common denominator. The denominator was seen glaring well in operation in the peninsular neighbours S-Pore, M-Sia, Th-Land. Especially in Thailand, the death figure is ca half of that of Malaysia even though the population is ca twice. Jun 12 Fri, mid-night, ALYA et al, eventually arrived home from JB, sanctioned by MCO during last Shawal May 24 Sun. And with that, an all-family-33 gathering was made, in conjunction with Muzani moving from Jln 3/43 to Jln 3/38, Jun 13 Sat evening, 'including' SB. Alya et al stayed for a week in Sg Merab, updating all that she missed during the last three months of banned interstate travel. She stayed for a week. Jun 19 Fri, she made the DRV-JB.
And on Jun 19 Fri, at the same time, we made a DRVTGG, 4-beranak with CB and ASRI. Both had not been in TRG for sometimes already. The LPT's were as at normal time, especially in the RR's, except the MCO SOP. Get the IR-forehead temp, and leaving the name and foon-number. We started rather early, and thus arrived before asar. The weather was fine all along the LPT. In TRG it was rather cloudy, but humid. While in TRG, both helped in the maintenance of Sepetir, Tok Jembal houses. In Sepetir the cats menace was as much as the electric-trip menaces in W-Tengah in last May. Tok Jembal needed a substential weeding, with a promise of TWO TANDAN of PISANG NANGKA. And the weeding was much more needed in W-Tengah. Nonetheless, both DRVKUL-ed, Jun 22 Mon taking Nissan back ti Sg Merab. The latter to catch his Jun Semester.
