Nonetheless the red rose enjoyed very much its near-natural environment.
Oct 4-5 Sat-Sun 12-13 R-Akhir 1447H, went to KL BAR, Asri accompany-ed, delivering NA for a LAWA training for two days. Fetched her Sun evening, CB accompany-ed. In the while Sat and Sun were Tenera times for restocking the kitchen sundries. On Sat evening CB accompany-ed, and on Sun morning, alone. Muzani et al popped-in Sun afternoon for a delight of KARI of the fish he acquired directly from the see.
Oct 6 Mon 14 R-Akhir 1447H morning, not directly related to LAWA, delivered NA to the Parlimen for a BAR-MP rapport. Be in the place of the supreme house of governance, for the first time in life. Noted some of NA colleagues of very senior lawyers, who knowingly of my being, appeared welcoming. But the time was so short. NA was delivered to UKM Toll in the evening by her colleague lawyer who was on her way home to Seremban.
Oct 11 Sat 19 R-Akhir 1447H, DRVTGG after several days solely in Sg Merab touching up the house perimeter partially off the wild weeds. Including felling some non-fruitful trees. When we setoff, bye-ing CB who was leaving for his IT work, Asri was in SMK Sg Besar with IUKL-KLUST team, being an alumni, in a motivation program Fri-Sat. Traffic and weather were very favourable. One pit stop in Temerloh RR, and another in Kijal LB, taking over the wheel from NA who took over from Temerloh. Arrived in Sepetir before asar. Singgah Home-TJ to note the SATU bill of rm137 due to a careless audit during the broken water meter time, Sep-20's, two taps left running for 4 days unchecked. Singgah PTJ as well, beli ayer in anticipation of ank-cu2 gathering on the week of Oct-20's. TRG was bracing for the monsoon, signs of rain at night, and some hot spell during the day.
Oct 13 Mon 21 R-Akhir 1447H, DRV-JERTEH, in TV with NA, basically to see the developed events especially in P-RIMAU in steps of making a house. Singgah MAKMING Telaga Papan, the eatery with thousands of lauk variety, for a makan. Smayang in Sejid Saujana. Singgah also in Gong Lilit seeing AbgJak Homestay. The notable development in P-Rimau was the heaps of Tanah Tambun for the house site. In waiting was the water-tank. The pisang kelat perebah appeared to work, it survived and was harvested, together with the lemak-manis sulong. The other kelat-perebah was covered by tanah-tambun. Visited AbgRod, and in P-Panjang settled the tanah tambun cost. Homeward close to seven, and it was dark when we arrived home.

Oct 15 Wed 23 R-Akhir 1447H, FISHING, restocking the kitchen provision. The PKB phenomenon had almost ceased, what left was an unpredictable sporadic. The neighbour-ing daganan was just like any other stall along the beach roads. Settled in the off-Suhada.

It's sunshine for the first half of the day, which may turn to humid and hot, the second half was with a torrent of thunder, followed by the rain at night followed by a thick dew in the wee hr. Oct 18 Sat 26 R-Akhir 1447H, a NGEKOH plus a WALIMAH. The former was in Atas Tol, that of Noriah Aziz, a batch-mate of Padang Midin 6470. The celebrated baby was her grandson of her #1son's #4. Eight members present, Abdullah Salleh, Nafisah-hubby-2daughters, WMarian, Lijah, Zalila, HjMan-zaujah, Zali, and Hasnah-hubby at whose place near by we ended up. The latter, the walimah, was in Dewan Kumuniti Tok Jembal, that of Tajuddin-Robiah, the back-neighbour of Sepetir, the double wedding of their daughters. It was a really a makan2-day, that we skipped the night dinner.
Oct 21 Tue 29 R-Akhir 1447H, roaming bandar, accompany-ing NA for some small terekoh legal matters. The enquiry took just a fraction of an hr. The rest were roaming homeward seeing the home-vic of Kalang Arang, Petai Bubus, with nasi-ayam Batu6 in the middle. Passing some of the routes of childhood growing up, adventurously at Petronas Wakaf Baru.
Oct 25 Sat 3 J-Awal 1447H, ANK-CU2 gathered, sans some. Ruby-6-beranak sans Edi, Aidah started since last night Oct 24 Fri 2 J-Awal 1447H. Alya-3-beranak arrived from JB at 5 this morning. KEK-ING was non-negotiable, for the OCT-ians. Ruby led her ank2sedara. All turned up with a few sans. SBHANIS, Alya et al, left homeward the next day Oct 26 Sun 4 J-Awal 1447H. Abd Rahman nebor dropped by while we were in preparation to clear the orchard. The last met in person was in Sep 2024, but quite a lot during the pecah geran tanah, between 2016-2018. Get some updates about the vic.
Oct 28 Tue 6 J-Awal 1447H, a rare visit to HUKM in CHERAS aka BTR. The entity was a very much loved one, very dear one, to the bangsa. As always it was born rather prematurely, now had grown into a monster every one wished to befriend with. Its very first controversy was its home not in Bangi. NA had a medical report of her client to be extracted. And to visit an acquaintance in ICU. Both were accomplished. Some others related were also met. Strangely in dear place like that no one known was seen, nor was seen by one known. Once upon a time in the 60-70-s, in the vic where we had a lot of fun, were SAS, STTI, and MPT. And Kg Congo, which was connected by unpaved path. Apparently in 2007 HUKM physically absorbed MPT, its existance was moved to Nilai in cluster with a Politeknik, TKC, IAB, dan English Language Training Center.
In between, BKD was fit-ed with a new a-cond set, made in MAEE w-shop Sect-7. That was after TAV was re-compressor-ed to silence the wheezing sound diagnosed to come out from the magnetic clutch. Last mid Jun, BKD was fit-ed with a new engine to fix the overheating problem.

Oct 19 Sun 27 R-Akhir 1447H, DRV-JERTEH-PANCHOR. The task was to meet the TUKANG Shukri for the P-RIMAU house. The rendv was in Gong Lilit in the presence of KakTi-AbgJak. The second task was NA to brief Utz Kamal et al in PANCHOR on the terekoh of NA's buddy Zan who passed away a month ago. Both tasks were accomplished. Despite the rendv with the TUKANG, P-Rimau was not visited. Neither TokBugis, nor P-Panjang. Even in the midst of eagerness to see how the pisang were doing.
Oct 22 Wed 30 R-Akhir 1447HH, DRVKUL in TAV with NA. It was a fine weather in the east coast, not, sunny, but rather gloomy. Traffic too was very favourable despite at the edge of Dewali M-sia break. One refreshment-refuelling-break in Gambang RR, and smayang in Karak toll service. Nonetheless NA has one task, to rendv with her buddy lawyer in Melawati for submission of legal docs relating to Jabat Tanah KL. And the task was accomplished. KL was drizzling when we arrived, but the traffic in MRR2 was fine. SgMerabHome was quiet in the evening when we arrived, pulling together, reminding that a lot of anecdotes had happened here throughout those many years that had passed.
Oct 31 Fri 9 J-Awal R-Akhir 1447H, DRV-TRG-ward with an overnight in ANCASA PEKAN for the first leg, for the occasion of TRG BAR FAMILY DAY. We had been here before, 2016 Aug 13 for exactly similar event with CB and ASRI accompany-ing then. And putting up in the same place.

Nov 1 Sat 10 J-Awal 1447H, continuing the DRV-TRG-ward, x-Pekan. Had a short roaming of the Pekan Town, just like we did in 2018. But the most was seeing a school classmate buddy, Mariam, of very significant anecdotes through the school days in Padang Midin 1964-66. Perhaps today was the longest reminisce-ing since 1966. The DRV TGG-ward was through the heart of Kuantan tracing the classic route of the 60-70-s. The Telok Chempedak junctiom. Baserah. Pantai Batu Hitam. We passed Swiss, where 2018 Sep 14-15 we joined the similar BAR TRG fam-day, with SB, ASRI accompany-ing then. Took LPT2 at Jabor toll after being entaggled in Gebeng industrial web. Refuelling in Paka RR. Home ca 1830. TRG was slightly wet, monsoon had sneaked in especially at night.
Nov 13 Thu 22 J-Awal 1447H, DRV-JERTEH, specifically P-RIMAU for the beginning of pondok making. Site clearing, in the presence of Tukang Sukeri. NA had another task with Utz Kamal of Panchor who came over after his school in Renek. While the ground clearing was CASE-ed, undergrowth were mow-cleared in the SARahman-corner, especially off the keluduk and wild ubi-kayu. The weather was fine, but Sukeri expected from tomorrow the monsoon would set in, and thus the acual building of the pondok may deferred to as late as in Jan next year 2026. We left ca 6, smayang in TPapan, and home just before iser.
2025 Nov 15 Sat 24 J-Awal 1447H, a WALIMAH in TTI CONFERENCE HALL, that of HjMamat-Hasmah PadangMidin68 buddy, the wedding of their grand-daughter, the #1F/#1F. My most memorable anecdote with TTI was in 2011 during which ICOTOS was organised and successfully took place. While in the vic, roamed Chabang Tiga, the used to be one of the marketplaces in KT in the 70-80-s, which had turned less merry since it moved to the nearby site in 1990-s, rather hidden from the main road. The series of famous KEPOK LOSONG in Jalan Masjid appeared disappeared. The houses on the street all had transformed to more of council-approved type, thus cottage industry of kepok vanished. The few left produced unreasonable kepok amounting to unpalatable by the local tongue.

Nov 6 Thu 15 J-Awal 1447H, DRV-JERTEH-SETIU in WLU with NA. NA accomplished in Nasi Dagang Kak Yah the fist task of meeting with a customer in dealing with terekoh cff Utz of Panchor. The rest was in P-RIMAU. Rendev-ed with TUKANG , an acquaintance of AbgJak, to start making a hut in P-Rimau. Spent the middle day in P-RIMAU mowing and clearing the east-left corner. No rezeki pisang, all were mocca-menaced, even though the trees kept on fruiting. Conceded after asar, in rather a rush, to visit AbgPar in Banggol. Singgah bazaar B-Kenak for a dinner set. A sun-set in Banggol, smayang in the Sejid. Ostensibly home at night.
Nov 10 Mon 19 J-Awal 1447H, DRV-BANDAR accompany-ing NA to JPJ making search on vehicle. Visited Mydin in between after a peek in Jjabat Ssaker, and a meal in the Foof Court. Basically all were accomplished.

Nov 16 Sun 25 J-Awal 1447H, an impromptu DRV-KGRAJA Besut with NA specifically visiting the jabat terekoh for a mystery 8-months long unresponsive matter. Perhaps this was the fastest DRV-JERTEH trip so far. Setoff 1433, home-ed 1825, passing Tembila to and fro, including a washroom-smayang-refrehment-break in Sejid Fikri.
Nov 24 Mon 3 J-Akhir 1447H, a fly to DELTA, SS21/60. The vic we stayed from 1976 Sep, the onset of my being a lecturer in UKM after coming back from England, to 1979 Sep, on returning to England for the doctorate. We were across the street then, in SS22/15, where my #1daughter was born, 1978 Oct 14. It was wet in KUL, since yesterday afternoon. Apparently the matter needed a suffix which was accomplished the next day Nov 25 Tue, in exactly a repeat trip.
Nov 26 Wed 5 J-Akhir 1447H, an evening in BTRAZAK. In the 70-es this place was well known as KG CONGO, then a close neighbouring to SAS, STTI, and MPT. All three stood defended to today, but the identity had changed with the massive development. Accompany-ing NA to join tahlil of a dear she knew perhaps once rather well who we visited in HUKM last month, and passed on this morning. The place, Lorong Mewah, was so pack-ed, but the majlis went on unhitched.
Nov 29 Sat 8 J-Akhir 1447H, another KEK-ING day. Alya-3-beranak arrived x-JB just before subuh. And SBH, in the afternoon x-iKEROH. The KEK-ING was preluded with a home compound audit. Ank2, and especiallu cu4 enjoy-ed themselves. The weather was very favourable for a lively bon fire. Mowing was accompany-ing. Unable to join the gathering were Munif in UPM, Farhan in JB, and Muzani-et-al. SBH left for iKeroh homeward the next day Nov 30 Sun. Alya et al deferred DRV-JB to Dec 1 Mon because Inova had a water leakage.

Nov 21 Fri 30 J-Awal 1447H, DRVKUL after two times deferred from scheduled Nov 16 Sun 25 J-Awal 1447H. First by NA's TRG BAR TALK on Nov 18 Tue 27 J-Awal 1447H, second by NA's terekoh matter in jabat ssaker KT on Nov 20 Thu 29 J-Awal 1447H. In the while HOME-TJ was audited mow-ed and audited, as well as pruning-harvested betik in SEPETIR. In TRG the weather was starting to get wet with daily rain, especially at the wee hr with only sporadic short cloud-shady sunshine in the late afternoon. Set off rather early in a non-rainy TRG. One stop in Gambang RR for a refreshment. KL was wet when we arrived. A stop in MMall vic for NA to collect some docs. The rain stops on approaching SgMerab. Arrived 1533, one of the earliest.
Nov 23 Sun 2 J-Akhir 1447H, ASRI 25-BD. Zidni et al popped-in the day before. Ruby et ank2 too. And again today with Malini et ank2, Muzani et al, and even PokJo. As always a Kek-ing. This weekend will be another with Alya, and SBH, home-ing.

A wedding invitation by besan in Bayan Lepas, in Pulo Ka Satu, the original name of Penang. The peeking would invoke the Tanjung Penaga, the original name for George Town, and Bagan, the original name for Butterworth. The most significant being in Penang was in 2009. My first engagement with Penang was in 1973 JUL, during the pre-bridge time. Dec 1 Mon 10 J-Akhir 1447H, solving the INOVA water leaking. It was in FLEXI. Noted the leakage point, pomen said would take time because the pipe was so hidden in various manifold of the engine. Fetched in the evening, ca asar. ALYA setoff DRV-JB ca 1730.
Dec 3 Wed 12 J-Akhir 1447H, popped-in MYDIN DIPLOMATIC, restocking the kitchen. And lunched on the nearby arab Al-Firdous menus, almost an exact repeat of last visit Jul 28 Mon 3 Safar 1447H.
Dec 5 Fri 14 J-Akhir 1447H, DRV-PENANG 4-beranak, attending the walimah of besan En Karin in Bayan Lepas on the wedding of his daughter, their last. Staying for the night in IDEAL ONE FORESTA. The walimah was on Dec 6 Sat 15 J-Akhir 1447H. The reception was in Dewan MBPP Rajawali. Ruby et ank2 joined, but with their own travel schedule involving a put up in Taiping, fetching Aidah in KMPP, and sending Arifah in UNIMAP. DRVKUL immediately afterward. Home-ed in Sg Merab at night, before iser.
Dec 11 Thu 20 J-Akhir 1447H, DRV-JERTEH with NA in WLU. Rendv-ed in Pasir Akar for NA to collect the terekoh doc from the client. On to Padang Luas visiting AbgRob. Updating. The last leg was dropping in P-RIMAU. The area was wet, but not raining. Noted three tandan pisang, in maturing stage with the leaves still green as though the virus was in the end stage. Talked to Samso about re-welding up the gate door guide. And hi-ed PokMing. Some ripen-ed MokTam on the tree Samso helped kait, with a lot of on the ground Samso and PokMing said menaced by keluang. Home-ed just after sunset.
Dec 14 Sun 23 J-Akhir 1447H, roaming KEDAI PAYANG, the first time since all said to have completed ca 15 months ago. Traces of pre-2k left was the pakir block along J-KgChina, the end of which was the clock tower which started J-Kota and J-SutanZainaBidin. The new clock tower was relocated to the opposite end of the ori-wing, in the middle with the add-wing, in the court yard. There are two welcoming entrance along J-SutanZainaBidin. The layout of the original gold stalls were preserved with additional backside copy which faces a big staged-indoor courtyard. There were no traces of pre-2k features on the back-side, the waterfront side of the pasar, the most acknowledged of which was the jeti-muto Seberang Takir which borders the Shah Bandar.

Dec 2 Tue 11 J-Akhir 1447H, NA went to BAR by MRT to observe the vote counting of the Council member election. But the final count may drag to wee hr. Noted in the FB post only Selamat Sadijo of 6770 reacted. This very img would invoke many of early SAS-ian those of pre-Putrajaya 2003. It's getting quieter now. 
Dec 7 Sun 16 J-Akhir 1447H, DRVTGG in TAV with NA, bye-ing CB, ASRI. Both weather and traffic were fine. Break for refreshment in Gambang RR. TRG was dry when we arrived, sporadically windy. Singgah Sepetir, HomeTJ, as well as PTJ to assess any effect by the rising water last week. The sea was calm. Home-ed in WTengah before dark. Noted in g-floor the signs that water level was ca 6-in, the disused water tank was dislocated. Otherwise all were in order.
Dec 10 Wed 19 J-Akhir 1447H, FISHING. Noted after zohor in Sejid Lipot, fish being unloaded on the stall. Appeared like ikan bubu, full of snapper-type. Desite the calm sea, speed boats were yet to frequent to the sea.
Dec 13 Sat 22 J-Akhir 1447H, visiting Manir Sat morning bazaar. It was drizzling, in fact the raining was since last night. To-ward was by Tepoh-SLink. Fro-ward was by Batu-6, the Gongs. All missions were accomplished in the circle-ing routes.

Closing 2025, FOTOTEKSES-91 is for 2025 Dec 16-31, topping COVID-MCO-es, the forgotten has been. The second wave of rain started right in mid Dec, but intermittently. It's windy though, thus the choppy sea. A walimah invitation in JB at the year close, that of NA's buddy, while seeing how Alya doing. And a similar in close by Jenderam. In between made a historic visit in Kg Tunku affirm-ing my stand that one would see those one had met before and be in places one had been there before. 
Dec 19 Fri 28 J-Akhir 1447H, visiting MARAS BAZAAR, merely to feel any update. In a gloomy morning, the marketplace was not so merry.
Dec 21 Sun 30 J-Akhir 1447H, DRVKUL. Setoff rather late with a drop by in W-Mesu BI. On by Padang Air taking LPT2 in Bukit Jong. It was a fine weather, sunny with clouds. Detoured-singgah CHENEH for refuelling, and makan in Kedai ABE. Another singgah was in Karak toll for the washroom. Karak-Gombak stretch was busy. Traffic built up at places, but no constipation. MRR2 was clear. Home at sunset. Noted the earth-machine in progress of cleaning tanah sunrise-nebor.
Dec 23 Tue 2 Rejab 1447H, DRV-SS21, accompany-ing NA to collect in her colleague office the Jjabat Tanah WP legal document. Ending the agony of dealing with it for the past three months. It was a lesson learned. The meals in Serdang RR was always reasonable. In the home vic, noted the Iswara struggling to escape the muddy trap from just less than an hr of light drizzling.
Dec 24 Wed 3 Rejab 1447H, a mission DRV-JB, 4-beranak. Basically for walimah of a good KIK-buddy of NA in Majidi, Dec 25 Thu. Tagged with seeing how Alya et al was getting on. Being with kiddos, tagged along to visit Tanjung Piai, seeing a plaque saying the most southerly land of the Asia continent. It was in a mangrove forest. The weather was good. And the traffic was as anticipated. Home-ward, Dec 26 Fri, singgah PARIT SULONG for jumaat. An attempt to visit Fadil in UTM was unsuccessful, he was in KL en route to balik-kampong in Kedah.

Dec 20 Sat 29 J-Akhir 1447H, another MANIR BAZAAR, with NA who like I was last week was for a mere update. The morning was bright and rather dry, unlike last Sat, drizzling, and wet. The drive to-and-fro was just like last Sat, but we dropped by in HOME-TJ for the leave audit.
Dec 27 Sat 6 Rejab 1447H, a historic visit in Kg Tunku, PJ. The vicinity I used to passed on bike from Sg Way since 1971 after checking in UKM, through to 1972 when the UKM batch-mate in 2nd college in Sect-17 welcome my stay, especially those of state-mates in FPI. One year in Sg Way was full of adventure, especially with house-mates Fadil, Zubir, and Hamzah.
Dec 28 Sun 7 Rejab 1447H, walimah in Jenderam Hilir, of NA's KIK-F6-buddy, that the wedding reception of her son.
Dec 30 Tue 9 Rejab 1447H, DRVTGG. Bye-ing ASRI and CB, and to Lot 3082 bracing that it would turn to a state once upon a time a merry place. However noting how the nyior was selvaged the day before, and how the grass lawn was menaced and re-menaced, the HOME would not be the same again. The weather was fine, even in the east coast despite the prediction the another wave was approaching. And the traffic too, even on MRR2 despite the new year warning. Arrived in Sepetir just after asar. Singgah bazaar KUZA for the dinner. And HOME-ed before sunset.
